Delete your JuntoPlan account
Delete it in the app
- Sign in to JuntoPlan (on the website or in the Android app).
- Open Account (Your account).
- At the bottom, press Delete my account…. JuntoPlan shows which plans will be deleted and which you will leave.
- Type DELETE and press Permanently delete my account. You are signed out straight away.
Two things have to be done first, and the app tells you if either applies: if you are the only owner of a plan that other people are still in, make someone else an owner (or delete the plan); and if you pay for a subscription or a family plan, cancel it in Billing.
Delete it by email
Email support@juntoplan.com from the address you sign in with, and ask us to delete your account. Our privacy policy says:
“You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data at any time by emailing support@juntoplan.com.”
What is deleted
- Your sign-in: your email address and password, or the link to your Google account.
- Your profile and the name you chose.
- Plans you own that nobody else is still in, with everything in them, including uploaded photos.
- Your notification settings and the devices registered for chat notifications.
- Shop prices and offers you added, and your market requests and votes.
- Notes you posted in a plan's notes feed, and the week-plan share links you made.
- Your sign-up and usage records, and your receipt-scan counts.
- Any payment page you opened and did not finish is cancelled, so it can no longer be paid.
What is kept, and why
- Shared plans stay with the group. You leave them, exactly as when you press "Leave plan": the messages, tasks, expenses, list items and photos you added stay in the plan for the other members, shown under the name they knew you by.
- Payment records. If you bought something, the record of that payment (what was bought, the amount, the date and the payment provider's reference) is kept without your account. Our payment provider keeps its own records under its own policy.
- A deletion record. We note that an account (by its random ID, not your email) was deleted and when.
The privacy policy also says: “Deleting a planner removes its content for every member.” See the full Privacy Policy.
